Summer’s in full swing, blogspot readers, which means another LONG month of festival activities, family fun and delicious food to sample. And of course, let’s not forget the music that will be rockin’ the stages and venues around Chicago (and elsewhere) too! Not to worry, SouthSide has compiled another calendar just for you to help assist your summertime fun during the month of July.
Please note, blogspot readers, most events/shows listed are either AA (All Ages) or 21+ ...or otherwise noted.

Summerfest (Milwaukee, WI) – SouthSide will be cruising the festival grounds checking out live performances by Black Star Drum Line, Milwaukee Community Circus, Lake Street Dive, Los Lonely Boys, Briar Rabbit.
July 2:
Summerfest (Milwaukee, WI) – SouthSide will be cruising the festival grounds checking out live performances by FLINTface, Workout Music, A Friend Called Fire, The Locals, The Lovehammers, The Wailers and (maybe) The Airborne Toxic Event.
The Wailers will be performing their iconic album “Legend” in its entirety to celebrate its 30 th Anniversary release.

Stage 48 (NYC, NY) – rock out with The Amatory Murder opening for Blood On The Dance Floor along with Hayley Rose, Millionaires and Cold Black.

July 3 – 6:
Union Park – it’s the 22nd International Festival of Life featuring the theme “Carnival of Nations” which will represent more than 50 nations from Africa, Caribbean, Central and South Americas and Mexico joining Jamaica and other legacy countries in this year’s celebration. The family festival also feature live music acts – international and local – performing reggae, salsa, mambo, R&B and much more on 3 stages as well as vendors and food from around the world.
July 3:
Schubas Tavern – SouthSide returns from Summerfest in time to rock with The Black Cadillacs who will be at Summerfest the on July 4th
