August 2014

It’s the dog days of summer, blogspot readers, with PLENTY of things to do ...to see and to fun left before autumn winds and weather roll into town. SouthSide highly recommends checking out the following shows/event that will be rockin’ Chicago and elsewhere this August.

July 31 – August 3:
Pilsen neighborhood – celebrate Fiesta Del Sol

August 1 – 3:
Den Theatre Studio 2A – it’s the world premiere of Alyssa Zaczek’s play “Real People”, a story about an American writer who travels to England to find his muse.

August 1:
Whiskey Trust Tavern & Distillery (3206 N. Halsted) – it’s the debut of an all new drag show “Mannequin” by Sissy Spastik happening every 1 st Friday of the month which will feature JoJo Baby, Ruby Dee, Anita Borshen, Miss Tosh and DJ  Adam Black.
