Happy birthday!
Yep, blogspot readers, SouthSide is one step closer to that half century mark and tonight, instead of the usual cake and ice cream, she celebrated in style with another adventure around town. This time, she was knee-deep inside the heart of enemy territory aka Wrigleyville to see her friend, Boy Band Review! To be honest, this reviewer is not nor was not a boy band fan. Yet, she knew the songs by New Kids on the Block, N'SYNC, Backstreet Boys, New Edition, 98 Degrees as well as Justin Timberlake, Bobby Brown etc. What makes this Boy Band super special,{besides bring the sexy back} - Brian and the guys do not skimp on the moves and or lyrics to each and every song performed. Yes, ladies, the guys will groove and shake that booty for ya to famous tunes such as "Backstreet Back", "I Want It That Way", "Larger Than Life" and "The Right Stuff". Singing and dancing along with the band is strongly encouraged. SouthSide was totally in the groove when they performed her fave from Blackstreet "No Diggity No Doubt" to which Boy Band rocked it for her. Though not knowing most of the songs performed, it didn't stop her from having a fun time. Just be warned, the diehard groupie Boy Band Review fans will gather in front or near the middle of the stage ...expect that area to get very wild and rambunctious from beginning to end. And yes, they did the MOST annoying song to this reviewer's ears - "Despacito".If you're a HUGE boy band fan, SouthSide highly recommends checking out Boy Band Review at their next show!.
Until next time, support your local scene,
SouthSide
