15 Jun 18 - Elle's Retirement Party

Hey, blogspot readers, SouthSide's good friend Elle Quintana has decided to "retire" and join the "real world" of employment. 

However, she's not leaving her old job as talent buyer for Reggie's Rock Club and Music Joint quietly. Oh no ...she's going out with a loud BANG and asked a few friends to help celebrate the next chapter of her life. Friends included The Flavor Savors (sexy, science-loving aliens from Sector 69), TAFKAV(The Artist Formerly Known As Vince) band (the front man wears a sequin dress and heels better than SouthSide!), Sam I Am (a hip hop/rap duo with DJ Rob mixing on beats), Paulie Think (a one-man show that may or not include his wacky cousins tagging along), Sharkula (a mystical, lyrical poet who keeps it real for the audience) and Kool Keith (Elle's special friend flown in just to perform at her show). 

This was Elle's night to shine, blogspot readers, since she has done SO MUCH for Chicago's music scene by showcasing local as well as national and international talent to the stages at Reggie's. She will be missed.
