Summer’s in full swing, blogspot readers, which means
another LONG month of festival activities, family fun and delicious food to
sample. And of course, let’s not forget the music that will be rockin’ the
stages and venues around Chicago (and elsewhere) too! Not to worry, SouthSide
has compiled another calendar just for you to help assist your summertime fun
during the month of July.

Union Park – it’s the 22nd International Festival of Life
featuring the theme “Carnival of Nations” which will represent more than 50
nations from Africa, Caribbean, Central and South Americas and Mexico joining
Jamaica and other legacy countries in this year’s celebration. The family
festival also feature live music acts – international and local – performing reggae,
salsa, mambo, R&B and much more on 3 stages as well as vendors and food
from around the world.
