Hey, blogspot readers, SouthSide’s back this week checking out a few touring bands rockin’ the local stages around town!
Tonight, she’s at the Beat Kitchen getting her
Bollywood-metal groove on with a band from New Delhi who recently has
been rockin’ across America to sold out
crowds. Bloodywood combining the intense metal music and sound with
Hindi/Punjabi languages for lyrics and folk music not only completely impressed
this reviewer but also wowed her by their stage presence and energy felt
throughout the 90 minute set …which truly didn’t feel like a 90 minute show,
blogspot readers.
Though checking out some of the band’s music
before the show, SouthSide highly recommends seeing this band live and in
person. The excitement, enthusiasm and energy from this five member group
totally fuels the same towards their loyal fans song after song. It felt like
an aerobic metal workout of the senses for the mind, body and soul. This
reviewer found herself dancing and getting pumped up in a fast frenzy the
moment the first song hit her ears and it didn’t stop until the very last note
had subside.
Also, SouthSide highly recommends checking out the opening band –A Killer’s Confession. She enjoyed the visual and “I don’t give a flying bleep” kind of metal show This opening band gave the crowd an intensified screamo lyrical experience that was equally matched with Confession’s heart-pounding, thundering guitar rhythms …liquefying your metal soul during their set.
